Information we collect
- Kit applications: student name, grade level, guardian name and contact information, shipping address, and optional eligibility notes.
- Contact form: name, email, subject, and message.
- Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and rate limiting.
We do not collect payment information on this website. Donations are processed by Zeffy, which has its own privacy policy.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Our kit program serves children, but we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A parent or guardian must submit all applications for minors and provide explicit consent. We collect only the minimum information needed to process and ship kits.
How we use your information
- Review and fulfill kit applications
- Communicate about application status and kit shipment
- Respond to contact form inquiries
- Improve our program and prevent abuse
Data storage & security
Application data is stored in a secure database (Supabase/PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Only authorized Circuit Sprout administrators can access applicant records. Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Data retention & deletion
We retain application data as long as needed to operate the program and comply with legal obligations. To request deletion of your data, email circuitsprout@gmail.com.
Your rights
