High School Kits

Goal: Feels professional · ~$49/kit

The high school kit is designed to feel professional. Students work with the same tools engineers use, from Arduino microcontrollers and a soldering iron to a full Linux computer, then turn circuits into something they can wear or display.

Kit hardware & projects

  • Arduino Uno Starter Kit (~$15): the microcontroller engineers actually use, with breadboard, sensors, and LEDs
  • Soldering kit (~$8): a real soldering iron and practice board
  • Raspberry Pi Zero 2W (~$15): full Linux computer for a retro console or smart mirror
  • Spectrometer kit (~$6): foldable cardboard spectrometer that uses a phone camera to analyze light
  • Circuit board jewelry/keychain kit (~$4): solder a working LED circuit into something wearable
